General facts
The Conference on Life and Work which was held at Stockholm 1925, uniting nearly all the Christian Churches of the world, except the Roman Catholic Church, which was also invited, studied the Christian aspect of modern industrial and economic problems. It established the Bureau first in Zurich in 1926; then transferred it to Geneva in April 1928. (HB 1929)
