HB 1936: a) Etablir et maintenir un lien entre toutes les organisations chrétiennes travaillant en faveur de l'union de la foi et de la liberté; b) encourager l'amitié et la coopération et créer des liens entre les églises libérales historiquement constituées, les groupes libéraux existant dans le cadre des Eglises et les défenseurs isolés de la liberté religieuse. General facts

HB 1938: The International Association was founded in July 1930 in succession to the International Congress for Religious Liberals, which had met every three years since 1901, at first under the direction of Dr. C. W. Wendte and, after the war, under that of Dr. Drummond. An International Congress was held at St. Gall in 1932, at Copenhagen in 1934 and one was held at Oxford from August 3rd to 8th, 1937. HB 1936: L'Association internationale a été fondée en juillet 1930 pour prendre la suite du Congrès international des libéraux religieux, qui s'était réuni tous les trois ans depuis 1901, tout d'abord sous la direction du Dr C. W. Wendte et, après la guerre, sous celle du Dr Drummond. Un Congrès international a eu lieu à Copenhague en 1934.
