HB 1929: The suppression of the traffic in women and children by means of National Committees formed in every country of Europe, in Canada, Egypt , India, Japan, South America, and United States of America, which work in conjunction with their respective Governments. HB 1936: Supprimer la traite des femmes et des enfants en créant des comités nationaux, qui existent aujourd'hui dans la plupart des pays d'Europe, au Canada, en Egypte, dans l'Inde, au Japon et aux Etats-Unis d'Amérique; ces comités bénéficient de l'appui de leurs gouvernements respectifs. Le Bureau international doit son origine spécialement aux efforts et démarches personnelles de feu M.W.A. Coote, qui parvint à obtenir la convocation d'une Conférence internationale à Paris en 1902. Cette Conférence aboutit à la signature de l'Arrangement international de 1904 par plusieurs gouvernements et les États-Unis. Cet accord fut ratifié et amendé en 1910 par la plupart des États signataires. HB 1925: Le Bureau travaille en rapports avec le Comité permanent consultatif pour la répression de l a traite des femmes et de la protection des enfants de l a Société des Nations. HB 1929: The International Bureau is the outcome of the activities of the late W. A Coote, who succeeded in bringing about an International Congress at Paris in 1902. This Congress led to the signature of the International Agreement of 1904 by various European Governments and the United States. The Bureau is represented on the League of Nations Permanent Advisory Committee for the Suppression of Traffic in Women and Children.
